Campus Visits
Want to visit Syracuse University with your SUPA students? Check out these guidelines and complete the linked form!
Group Requirements:
- We ask for submission of this form at least one month prior to the request date of visit.
- Please fill out all fields. Incomplete requests will not be considered.
- We do not accommodate students below 9th grade. The information during the information session and tour are geared toward 9th-12th graders.
- The maximum number of students we will be able to accommodate is 100 students per group.
- For the campus tours, the group may be split up into smaller groups for better navigation across campus.
- One chaperone is required per ten students.
- Chaperones must go on tour.
- In person visit options include:
- Information session only (30 minutes)
- Tour only (60 minutes)
- Information session and tour (1.5 hours total)
- We are only able to accommodate in person group visits:
- Monday- Friday at either 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
- We ask for 48-hour notice for any cancellation or change of plans.
- Groups must arrive on time. In the event the group is more than 15 minutes late, your itinerary may change, and you may be required to take a self-guided tour.
- If you sign up for a campus tour, please note tours will happen no matter the weather. Be sure the group is properly equipped for the weather, with comfortable walking shoes.
- Our ability to offer tours is based off of our student tour guides schedules and availability. In the extremely rare instance we confirm a visit and are not able to offer a tour, we will provide a self-guided tour as an alternative.
- Please note, while on campus, photographs and video footage of your group might be recorded for promotional materials.
- Behavior: We expect your students to be respectful and attentive while visiting our campus. Our admissions staff and tours guides have the right to end an information session or tour early if students are disrespectful to anyone belonging to our campus community, this includes faculty, staff, students, or each other. We are an accepting campus community and do not tolerate harassment, hate-speech, or other such actions. Syracuse University reserves the right to restrict any future visit if conduct is an issue.
- Should anyone in your group require disability related accommodation, please contact Stephanie Gavin: smgavin@syr.edu in advance of your visit.
