Syracuse University Project Advance offers Syracuse University courses through partner schools internationally. Teachers are trained in the same way as their domestic counterparts, by attending the SUPA Summer Institute.
Through SUPA and its strategic global partners, high schools can have their own qualified teachers trained to teach SU courses in their local schools. Teachers are required to train at Syracuse University to become certified, and the courses are the same as are taught at Syracuse University. Students who successfully register and complete the course are able to have their Syracuse transcript sent to any college or university of their choice when trying to transfer credits.
SUPA currently has trained teachers in China, Dominican Republic, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
