About Melanie Nappa-Carroll
Dr. Nappa-Carroll is an Associate Director at Project Advance, overseeing the African-American Studies, Economics, and American History programs. She brings with her to SUPA years of experience as a Syracuse City School District Social Studies and Special Ed teacher and administrator. She is a SU undergraduate alum having completed her bachelor’s degree in education in 1994, before going on to Boston College for her master’s. Melanie received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from the SU School of Education, and serves on the Board of Directors at the Syracuse University Catholic Center and Executive Board of the Redhouse Center for the Arts, Syracuse.
